Residential Design

Do you dream of a calm, comfortable, and beautiful home? Great spaces do not happen by accident!

We use a 6-step process of meetings to guide your decisions and move you forward. This allows your decisions to build upon one another and get you to your dream space faster.

Here’s how it works-

Step 1- Getting to Know You– After signing our Letter of Agreement, which outlines the work to be done, we spend a meeting getting to know you. We explore your home together and work out what ideas you love and how you need your home to function for your lifestyle. We will take measurements and photographs of your home and furniture, which we will use to draw your floor plans.

Step 2- Learning about Design– It’s important to us that you understand how the design & construction industry works. This helps our clients understand what to expect in the weeks ahead. Whether a furniture purchase or a full gut renovation for your home, we outline details and timing so that you have a roadmap for your design services. Meetings are scheduled and shopping appointments outlined to ensure that we stay on schedule. We help prepare our clients with contractor questions and information to smooth your interviews and to ensure that everyone is on the same page at all times.

Steps 3 & 4- Design Concept Meetings– Working with your floor plans and scope of work, we start making design decisions together and choosing product for your home. These meetings are the culmination of all of our earlier design decisions and allow you to really ‘see’ how everything coordinates in one big presentation. You’ll be amazed at how all of your choices work together!

Step 5- Purchasing Management– We have access to an amazing array of interior design trade resources, and we widely source to ensure that you have the perfect pieces for your home. This is a highly individualized service to ensure your home uniquely fits your personality with the function you need. It will feel effortless because we do the heavy lifting for you- managing the process!

Step 6- Installation – Now that the paint has dried, we bring in our team of assistants and install everything that procured for your home. You can, literally, leave for work in the morning and come home to a space that is beautiful, comfortably sophisticated, and designed just for you. A truly awesome experience!

Living la dolce vita in Rome! 🇮🇹

Recently in July I swapped tourist traps for local treasures. Rome’s central area is like a charming maze easy to explore on foot or with a quick Uber Black ride. The real magic is in getting lost and discovering the city’s hidden gems. Next time you’re in Rome, skip the lines and embrace the local life!

It’s Sunday evening and I have everyone texting me about work (boundaries, what boundaries?). The dog is obsessed with her squeaky toy (noise, so much noise) and I’m trying to unwind by watching the news (what is happening?!).
So what am I thinking of?

Wine windows.

Specifically, why are there no wine windows in Brooklyn? Like on my block?
Someone take my idea and go!
You’ll be rich and beloved by all. 🍷
(Or maybe I just need to live in Florence…)
