Bathroom Renovation- Creating a Shower
Changing a bathtub to a luxurious shower is a frequent request from my clients. There are a couple of key things to consider when planning this switch. Bathtubs are usually 30″ wide. This is a little narrow for most of us and you don’t want to bang your elbows on the glass when you’re washing your hair. Adding extra inches (6″-18″) will make your new shower much more comfortable and functional. I like to add a linear drain for more efficient drainage. Your shower doors will depend on the size of your bathroom. If space is tight, opt for sliding doors. Shower ‘barn doors’ are a great option.
