Unexpected Architecture
Hi from Brooklyn (& Chicago & LA)!
I certainly have spent enough time on planes lately. But travel generates creativity!
And, I love to be stopped in my tracks by the unexpected, either in style or craftsmanship. Or both.
Here are a few fun photos of buildings I found while doing something else. Some felt out of place and others were just so typical of the city I was in. Look closely at the details to see why they intrigued me.
This shows how a well-designed window replacement can dramatically enhance a home’s curb appeal by adding symmetry, character, and visual interest to the exterior. Clean, well-maintained glass and frames make the entire property look brighter and more inviting from the street. Stylish upgrades like shutters, trim, or modern window designs can give a house a polished, updated appearance.
