Industrial Chic- Reclaim, Reuse, Recycle

Hi from High Point, NC!

We’ve seem to be in a throwback moment to the early 1900’s and Industrial Chic is still going strong. While the furniture seems to be a bit played out, I am still in love with the accessories. And, lighting is where designers seem to be most creative and innovative. They really shine!

Whether in metal or in wood, these looks mix well with contemporary and modern furniture. The rough edges contribute the ‘cool factor’ needed to make the space pop and keep the room from looking bland.

I saw several great pieces at the High Point Furniture Market, but these were my favorites made from recycled tobacco sticks, buckets, and old farming machinery (as a city girl, I didn’t quite get the exact machinery function…)
